Basen side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Apr 27, 2005. Female patient, 52 years of age, weighting 141.1 lb, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus, hypercholesterolaemia and was treated with Basen. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood albumin decreased, concomitant disease progression, dyspnoea, fluid retention, nephrotic syndrome, pleural effusion, protein total decreased, renal impairment. Basen dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with GLIMICRON, LOCHOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
