Barium side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on July 02, 2007. Female patient, 94 years of age, weighting 125.0 lb, was diagnosed with diagnostic procedure and was treated with Barium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, adhesion What is  adhesion, diarrhoea, diverticulitis, gastroenteritis escherichia coli, intestinal obstruction, lethargy, pneumonia What is  pneumonia, vomiting. Barium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LISINOPRIL, VITAMIN B, OXYBUTYNIN CHLORIDE, FOLIC ACID, FUROSEMIDE, SYNTHROID, POTASSIUM ACETATE, WARFARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Female patient, 70 years of age, was diagnosed with barium enema, abdominal pain What is  abdominal pain, angina pectoris and was treated with Barium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: angina pectoris, cardiac failure, diverticulum intestinal, flatulence, intestinal ischaemia, intestinal obstruction. Barium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ANTISPASMODICS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
