Barium side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Nov 03, 2008. Female patient, 70 years of age, was diagnosed with barium enema, abdominal pain , angina pectoris and was treated with Barium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure, colonic obstruction, intestinal ischaemia. Barium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ANTISPASMODICS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
