Balsalazide side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Dec 15, 2008. Male patient, 28 years of age, was diagnosed with colitis ulcerative, eosinophilic pneumonia and was treated with Balsalazide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diarrhoea haemorrhagic, eosinophilic pneumonia. Balsalazide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, MERCAPTOPURINE, CLARITHROMYCIN, LIALDA, CYCLOSPORINE. Patient recovered.
