Balsalazide side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Oct 17, 2008. Female patient, 43 years of age, weighting 280.0 lb, was diagnosed with crohn's disease  and was treated with Balsalazide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, condition aggravated, crohn's disease , mobility decreased. Balsalazide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with BALSALAZIDE DI, FLUOXETINE HYDROCHLORIDE, DESLORATADINE, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, SALMETEROL, FLUTICASONE PROPIONATE. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 46 years of age, weighting 185.0 lb, was diagnosed with colitis ulcerative and was treated with Balsalazide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anal abscess, colitis ulcerative, condition aggravated. Balsalazide dosage: 3000MG TWICE/DAY ORAL DAILY. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
