Azulfidine Side Effects Report #4996435-9
Azulfidine side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Apr 27, 2006. Female patient, 85 years of age, weighting 94.80 lb, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis , venous thrombosis and was treated with Azulfidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, blood pressure decreased, haemorrhage, inflammation, interstitial lung disease, pneumonia , pneumothorax, venous thrombosis, white blood cell count increased. Azulfidine dosage: 1000 MG (500 MG, 2 IN 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with CLINORIL, BUFFERIN, MUCOSTA, PREDNISOLONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 04/01/2006.
