Azulfidine Side Effects Report #4998350-3
Azulfidine side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Apr 28, 2006. Female patient, 75 years of age, weighting 94.80 lb, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis  and was treated with Azulfidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, aplastic anaemia, c-reactive protein increased, haemorrhage subcutaneous, malaise, nausea , platelet count decreased, pleurisy, pyrexia. Azulfidine dosage: 1000 MG (TWICE DAILY), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with LOXONIN, MARZULENE, ALFACALCIDOL, OSTEN, NORVASC, ASPIRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Azulfidine dosage: 1 GRAM (500 MG, 2 IN 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with MOVER, PREDNISOLONE, HERBAL PREPARATION. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 05/15/2006.
