Azulfidine Side Effects Report #5096802-1
Azulfidine side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Aug 24, 2006. Female patient, 70 years of age, weighting 88.18 lb, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis  and was treated with Azulfidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cholecystitis, eosinophil count increased, erythema, human herpes virus 6 serology positive, liver disorder, lymphadenopathy, lymphocyte morphology abnormal, lymphocytic infiltration. Azulfidine dosage: 1000 MG (500 MG, FREQUENCY: BID), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with AMOXICILLIN, OMEPRAZOLE, TROXSIN, ETODOLAC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Azulfidine side effect was reported by a Physician from on Mar 28, 2005. Female patient, 43 years of age, weighting 120.2 lb, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis  and was treated with Azulfidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: exanthem, hepatic function abnormal, infectious mononucleosis , lymphadenopathy, lymphocyte morphology abnormal, malaise, pharyngolaryngeal pain, pyrexia, splenomegaly. Azulfidine dosage: 1 GRM (500 MG, 2 IN 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with LAFUTIDINE, PHELLOBERIN A, TIQUIZIUM BROMIDE, LOPERAMIDE HYDROCHLORIDE, VALSARTAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with MINOCYCLINE, MOBIC, POLAPREZINC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Azulfidine dosage: 1000 MG (500 MG, 2 IN 1 D); ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with LOXONIN, METHYLPREDNISOLONE, ETODOLAC, MUCOSTA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, erythema, liver function test abnormal, lymphadenopathy, pyrexia, rash pruritic.
