Azulfidine Side Effects Report #5096802-1
Azulfidine side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Aug 24, 2006. Female patient, 70 years of age, weighting 88.18 lb, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis What is  rheumatoid arthritis and was treated with Azulfidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cholecystitis, eosinophil count increased, erythema, human herpes virus 6 serology positive, liver disorder, lymphadenopathy, lymphocyte morphology abnormal, lymphocytic infiltration. Azulfidine dosage: 1000 MG (500 MG, FREQUENCY: BID), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with AMOXICILLIN, OMEPRAZOLE, TROXSIN, ETODOLAC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 43 years of age, weighting 120.2 lb, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis What is  rheumatoid arthritis and was treated with Azulfidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: exanthem, hepatic function abnormal, infectious mononucleosis What is  infectious mononucleosis, lymphadenopathy, lymphocyte morphology abnormal, malaise, pharyngolaryngeal pain, pyrexia, splenomegaly. Azulfidine dosage: 1 GRM (500 MG, 2 IN 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with LAFUTIDINE, PHELLOBERIN A, TIQUIZIUM BROMIDE, LOPERAMIDE HYDROCHLORIDE, VALSARTAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
