Azulfidine Side Effects Report #5826220-7
Azulfidine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from JAPAN on July 22, 2008. Female patient, 77 years of age, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis  and was treated with Azulfidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: leukopenia, neutropenia. Azulfidine dosage: DAILY DOSE:1500MG. During the same period patient was treated with PREDONINE, AMLODIN, ALLOPURINOL, PARIET, ATARAX, LOXONIN, CYANOCOBALAMIN, MYSLEE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: leukopenia, liver disorder, pyrexia, transaminases increased. Azulfidine dosage: 1000 MG, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with MEDROL, MOBIC, STOMILASE, MARZULENE S, MAGNESIUM OXIDE, FAMOTIDINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
