Azulfidine Side Effects Report #5013822-3
Azulfidine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on May 17, 2006. Female patient, 85 years of age, weighting 94.80 lb, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis , venous thrombosis and was treated with Azulfidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, interstitial lung disease, joint swelling, oedema peripheral, pneumonia , pneumothorax, respiratory disorder. Azulfidine dosage: 1000 MG (500 MG, 2 IN 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with CLINORIL, BUFFERIN, MUCOSTA, PREDNISOLONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 04/01/2006.
