Azulfidine side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Nov 22, 2007. Male patient, 83 years of age, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis  and was treated with Azulfidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, folate deficiency, malaise, pernicious anaemia. Azulfidine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with RINDERON, MOBIC, ALFACALCIDOL, RHEUMATREX, BREDININ, LIPITOR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 11/20/2007.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, aplastic anaemia, c-reactive protein increased, haemorrhage subcutaneous, malaise, nausea , platelet count decreased, pleurisy, pyrexia. Azulfidine dosage: 1000 MG (TWICE DAILY), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with LOXONIN, MARZULENE, ALFACALCIDOL, OSTEN, NORVASC, ASPIRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Patient recovered.
