Azilect side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Nov 22, 2006. Male patient, 73 years of age, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease What is  parkinson's disease and was treated with Azilect. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, cold sweat, confusional state, muscle rigidity, serotonin syndrome. Azilect dosage: 0.5 MG (0.5 MG, 1 IN 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with VENLAFAXINE, LEVODOPA, DIAZEPAM, DILTIAZEM, TRAZODONE, WARFARIN, METOPROLOL SUCCINATE, MIRTAZAPINE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: overdose, serotonin syndrome, suicide attempt. Azilect dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CITALOPRAM HYDROBROMIDE. Patient recovered.
