Azilect side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Nov 22, 2006. Male patient, 73 years of age, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease  and was treated with Azilect. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, cold sweat, confusional state, muscle rigidity, serotonin syndrome. Azilect dosage: 0.5 MG (0.5 MG, 1 IN 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with VENLAFAXINE, LEVODOPA, DIAZEPAM, DILTIAZEM, TRAZODONE, WARFARIN, METOPROLOL SUCCINATE, MIRTAZAPINE. Patient recovered.

Azilect side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Oct 23, 2008. Male patient, 80 years of age, weighting 123.5 lb, was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation , myocardial ischaemia, parkinson's disease , rhinorrhoea, constipation , osteoarthritis , hypertension and was treated with Azilect. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: angina pectoris, cerebral haemorrhage, confusional state. Azilect dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID SRT, BISOPROLOL FUMARATE, SINEMET, NITROGLYCERIN, IPRATROPIUM BROMIDE, LACTULOSE, ACETAMINOPHEN, RAMIPRIL. Patient died on 09/15/2008.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: confusional state, hypotension, pneumonia aspiration. Azilect dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CIPROFLOXACIN. Patient died.
