Azacitidine side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on Aug 11, 2005. Male patient, 79 years of age, weighting 189.6 lb, was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome and was treated with Azacitidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, myelodysplastic syndrome, myelofibrosis, thrombocytopenia. Azacitidine dosage: (150 MG, [~75 MG/M2] ONCE DAILY), SUBCUTANEOUS. During the same period patient was treated with ZOFRAN. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with PREDNEFRINTE, TRANEXAMIC ACID, DICLOFENAC EC, VOLTAREN SUPPOSITORY, RABEPRAZOLE, COLOXYL WITH SENNA, DUPHALAC, FUROSEMIDE. Patient recovered.

Azacitidine dosage: 75 MG/M2 DAILY X 7 SUBCUTANEOUS. During the same period patient was treated with DIALYSIS, PLATELET AND PRBC TRANSFUSION, MASK CPAP. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 01/10/2005.
