Azacitidine side effect was reported by a Physician from ITALY on Oct 11, 2007. Male patient, 84 years of age, weighting 145.5 lb, was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome and was treated with Azacitidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: angina pectoris, confusional state, pleural effusion, subileus. Azacitidine dosage: (37.5 MG/M2, DAILY X 7 DAYS), SUBCUTANEOUS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
