Azacitidine side effect was reported by a Physician from on Apr 01, 2005. Male patient, 74 years of age, weighting 196.2 lb, was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome and was treated with Azacitidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: febrile neutropenia, pneumonia bacterial, pneumonia fungal. Azacitidine dosage: 142 MG (75 MG/M2, DAILY X 7 DAYS), SUBCUTANEOUS. During the same period patient was treated with FOLIC ACID, TORSEMIDE, METOPROLOL TARTRATE, LOSARTAN. Patient died on 01/30/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypoxia, neutropenia, pneumonia fungal. Azacitidine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MGCD, ACYCLOVIR, LEVAQUIN, COMPAZINE, AMBIEN, BENADRYL, ACETAMINOPHEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bacterial infection , lung infiltration, neutropenia, pneumonia fungal, respiratory failure. Azacitidine dosage: 150 MG (DAILY X 7 DAYS), SUBCUTANEO. During the same period patient was treated with MGCD, ACYCLOVIR, LEVAQUIN, COMPAZINE, AMBIEN, BENADRYL, ACETAMINOPHEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 06/12/2006.
