Azacitidine Side Effects Report #5908957-4
Azacitidine side effect was reported by a Physician from NETHERLANDS on Sept 09, 2008. Male patient, 81 years of age, weighting 172.0 lb, was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome and was treated with Azacitidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain
, cardiac tamponade, cardiopulmonary failure, chloroma, dyspnoea, haematuria, infection
, lymphoedema, unresponsive to stimuli. Azacitidine dosage: 75 MG/M2, DAILY X 7 DAYS), SUBCUTANEOUS. During the same period patient was treated with FINASTERIDE, FOLIC ACID, SOTALOL, FUROSEMIDE, ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID SRT. Patient was hospitalized. Azacitidine side effect was reported by a Physician from AUSTRALIA on Oct 05, 2005. Male patient, 80 years of age, was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome and was treated with Azacitidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, cardiogenic shock, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, concomitant disease progression, dyspnoea, hypoxia, intestinal ischaemia, myelodysplastic syndrome. Azacitidine dosage: 75 MG/M2 (148.5 MG, DAILY X 7 DAYS), SUBCUTANEOUS. During the same period patient was treated with BETALOC, LOSEC, VENTOLIN, ATROVENT, LASIX, PANADEINETE, KARVEZIDE, LANOXIN. Patient died on 07/08/2005.
