Atropine Side Effects Report #4673289-1
Atropine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on May 24, 2005. Male patient, 75 years of age, weighting 256.2 lb, was treated with Atropine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation , chest pain , dyspnoea, electrocardiogram st segment depression, myocardial ischaemia. Atropine dosage: 0.2 MG SQ. During the same period patient was treated with CISPLATIN, RINOTECAN, MAGNESIUM SULPHATE, ONDANSETRON, GLIPIZIDE, LANOXIN, METOPROLOL TARTRATE, OMEPRAZOLE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 63 years of age, weighting 169.8 lb, was diagnosed with osteoarthritis , back pain  and was treated with Atropine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, anaemia, arterial occlusive disease, blood cholesterol increased, bursitis , chest pain , coronary artery disease , depressed mood, diarrhoea. Atropine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CIPRO, VIOXX, SYNTHROID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure increased, chest pain , headache , heart rate increased, nausea , sinus bradycardia. Atropine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with METHERGINE, BUPIVACAINE, FENTANYL, SALINETURE, ONDANSETRON. Patient recovered.
