Atracurium Side Effects Report #4940918-4
Atracurium side effect was reported by a Physician from SPAIN on Feb 26, 2006. Male patient, 30 years of age, weighting 160.9 lb, was diagnosed with induction of anaesthesia and was treated with Atracurium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactic reaction, arteriosclerosis coronary artery, bradycardia, circulatory collapse, electrocardiogram qrs complex prolonged, electromechanical dissociation, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, myocardial infarction. Atracurium dosage: 5 + 30 MG. During the same period patient was treated with FENTANYL CITRATE, LIDOCAINE HYDROCHLORIDE, MIDAZOLAM HYDROCHLORIDE, PROPOFOL, LACTATED RINGER. Patient died.

Male patient, 30 years of age, weighting 160.9 lb, was diagnosed with anaesthesia, intubation, corneal reflex decreased and was treated with Atracurium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactic reaction, blood bicarbonate decreased, blood chloride increased, blood ph decreased, blood pressure increased, bradycardia, circulatory collapse, coronary artery stenosis, cough. Atracurium dosage: 5 MG. During the same period patient was treated with ATRACURIUM BESYLATE, ATRACURIUM BESYLATE, ATRACURIUM BESYLATE, FENTANYL, MIDAZOLAM, PROPOFOL, DEXAMETHASONE, DIAZEPAM. Patient died.
