Atovaquone side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on July 20, 2005. Male patient, 39 years of age, weighting 159.0 lb, was diagnosed with pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia, prophylaxis, candidiasis and was treated with Atovaquone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: erythema multiforme. Atovaquone dosage: 1500 MG PO QD. During the same period patient was treated with FLUCONAZOLE, CYCLOBENZAPRINE, GABAPENTIN, MIRTAZAPINE, VALACYCLOVIR. Patient recovered.
