Atovaquone Side Effects Report #4842581-X
Atovaquone side effect was reported by a Physician from CANADA on Oct 24, 2005. Male patient, 33 years of age, was diagnosed with antibiotic prophylaxis, oedema and was treated with Atovaquone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, rash macular, stevens-johnson syndrome. Atovaquone dosage: 1500MG TWICE PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with SEPTRA SS, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 10/24/2005.
