Atomoxetine Side Effects Report #4579425-X
Atomoxetine side effect was reported by a Physician from on Jan 25, 2005. Male patient, 39 years of age, weighting 187.4 lb, was diagnosed with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder and was treated with Atomoxetine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, anorexia, appendicitis , diarrhoea, gamma-glutamyltransferase increased, vomiting. Atomoxetine dosage: 80 MG/1 DAY. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Atomoxetine dosage: 120 MG IN THE MORNING. During the same period patient was treated with TYLENOL. Patient recovered.

Male patient, child 10 years of age, weighting 114.6 lb, was diagnosed with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder and was treated with Atomoxetine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood bicarbonate decreased, blood sodium decreased, body temperature increased, dehydration, diabetes mellitus inadequate control, diarrhoea, gastroenteritis , gastrointestinal haemorrhage, ketoacidosis. Atomoxetine dosage: 45 MG/2 DAY. During the same period patient was treated with DEXCHLORPHENIRAMINE MALEATE, CATAPRES, HUMALOG, HUMULIN N, DYMADON, SUDAFED, ACETAMINOPHEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
