Atgam side effect was reported by a Health Professional from TURKEY on Mar 21, 2006. Male patient, 23 years of age, was diagnosed with stem cell transplant and was treated with Atgam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: epstein-barr virus antibody positive, epstein-barr virus infection, lymphoproliferative disorder, malignant neoplasm progression, viral load increased. Atgam dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISOLONE, MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL, CYCLOSPORINE, IRRADIATION, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE. Patient died.

Atgam side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Nov 10, 2008. Female patient, child 7 years of age, was treated with Atgam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cytomegalovirus infection What is  cytomegalovirus infection, disease progression, epstein-barr virus infection. Atgam dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, CYCLOSPORINE, TREOSULFAN. Patient died.
