Asparaginase Side Effects Report #5839424-4
Asparaginase side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on July 22, 2008. Female patient, child 11 years of age, was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Asparaginase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atonic urinary bladder, febrile neutropenia, grand mal convulsion, ileus paralytic, lower motor neurone lesion, neuropathy peripheral, reversible posterior leukoencephalopathy syndrome, tardive dyskinesia. Asparaginase dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VINCRISTINE, DAUNORUBICIN, PREDNISONE, METHOTREXATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
