Asparaginase side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from LEBANON on Aug 15, 2008. Male patient, 14 years of age, was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Asparaginase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aphasia What is  aphasia, depressed level of consciousness, disorientation, grand mal convulsion, reversible posterior leukoencephalopathy syndrome, septic shock. Asparaginase dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DEXAMETHASONE, VINCRISTINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
