Ascorbic side effect was reported by a Physician from AUSTRALIA on Feb 12, 2008. Female patient, 16 years of age, was diagnosed with iron overload and was treated with Ascorbic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hepatic siderosis, hypophosphataemia, urine phosphate increased. Ascorbic dosage: 500 MG DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with DESFERAL. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hepatic siderosis, hypophosphataemia, urine phosphate increased, urine protein/creatinine ratio increased. Ascorbic dosage: 500 MG DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with DESFERAL. Patient recovered.
