Ascorbic side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Jan 22, 2009. Male patient, 73 years of age, weighting 149.9 lb, was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome and was treated with Ascorbic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: epistaxis, fall What is  fall, gingival bleeding, haematemesis, haematocrit decreased, haematoma, haemoglobin decreased, lower gastrointestinal haemorrhage, melaena. Ascorbic dosage: 1000 MG (D1-5 Q WK). During the same period patient was treated with ARSENIC TRIOXIDE, DECITABINE, METOPROLOL TARTRATE, LISINOPRIL, ZETIA, FLOMAX, LYRICA, ALLOPURINOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
