Male patient, 77 years of age, was diagnosed with colitis ulcerative and was treated with Asacol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure congestive, diarrhoea, electrolyte imbalance, hypersensitivity. Asacol dosage: 1200 MG THREE DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, LANOXIN, LEXAPRO, CARDIZEM, PLAVIX, LOMOTIL, SINGULAIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Asacol dosage: 1200 MG THREE TIMES DAILY ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, LANOXIN, LEXAPRO, CARDIZEM, PLAVIX, LOMTIL, SINGULAIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
