Male patient, 41 years of age, weighting 143.0 lb, was diagnosed with gastritis and was treated with Asacol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: amnesia, arthralgia, asthenia, back pain , fatigue, gastric haemorrhage, groin pain. Asacol dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.

Asacol dosage: 800 MG 3 DAILY, ORAL; 400 MG 3 TIMES DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with PAXIL, ATENOLOL, CALCIUM, VITAMIN C, PERCOCET, VITAMINS, LACTULOSE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
