Asacol side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on July 30, 2007. Female patient, 77 years of age, was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome , hypertension, hiatus hernia, blood cholesterol increased and was treated with Asacol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, diverticulitis, injection site pain, limb discomfort, muscle spasms, thyroid neoplasm, urinary incontinence , weight increased. Asacol dosage: 400 MG, 3/D. During the same period patient was treated with AVAPRO, ASPIRIN, PROTONIX, OSCAL, VITAMIN D, PRAVACHOL, VYTORIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
