Asacol side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 05, 2009. Male patient, 55 years of age, weighting 114.0 lb, was diagnosed with colitis ulcerative, renal cell carcinoma and was treated with Asacol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain lower, anaemia, bronchospasm, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, clostridium difficile colitis, diarrhoea haemorrhagic, dyspnoea, enterocolitis infectious, insomnia. Asacol dosage: 400 MG ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with SUNITINIB MALATE, SUNITINIB MALATE, SUNITINIB MALATE, SORAFENIB, ANTIFUNGALS TOPICAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, anaemia of chronic disease, band neutrophil percentage increased, blood calcium decreased, blood phosphorus increased, blood thyroid stimulating hormone decreased, carbon dioxide decreased, dialysis , diarrhoea. Asacol dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ZOLOFT, MERCAPTOPURINE, FERGON, ATENOLOL, FOLIC ACID, DONNATAL, LOMOTIL. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

Asacol dosage: 800 MG THREE TIMES DAILY, ORAL, 400 MG THREE TIMES DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with REMICADE, IMURAN, PREDNISONE, FLAGYL, IRON, VITAMINS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Asacol dosage: 2400 MG DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, ADVAIR, COZAAR, BENICAR, ACIPHEX, PANCREASE, SINGULAIR. Patient recovered.
