Artane side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on June 14, 2007. Male patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with schizophrenia and was treated with Artane. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: neuroleptic malignant syndrome, renal failure, rhabdomyolysis. Artane dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AMANTADINE, CLONAZEPAM, PHENOBARBITAL, LEVOMEPROMAZINE MALEATE, CHLORPROMAZINE, PROMETHAZINE, HALOPERIDOL, CLONIDINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood uric acid increased, depressed level of consciousness, rhabdomyolysis. Artane dosage: 6 MG 1X PER 1 DAY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with BUFFERIN, RISPERDAL, VEGETAMIN A, ROHYPNOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with CAFEINE, LYSOZYME, BUFFERIN, RISPERDAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
