Artane side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Apr 06, 2006. Female patient, 59 years of age, was diagnosed with schizophrenia and was treated with Artane. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure decreased, diabetic ketoacidosis, heart rate increased, hyperamylasaemia, ill-defined disorder, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, renal failure acute. Artane dosage: 4 MG 1X PER 1 DAY ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with DOXAZOSIN MESYLATE, FOSAMAX, ALFAROL, CARVEDILOL, VIT K CAP, OSTEN, BLOPRESS, HALOPERIDOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: depressed level of consciousness, diabetic ketoacidosis, hyperamylasaemia, hypertension, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, obesity

, renal failure acute, shock. Artane dosage: 4 MG 1X PER 1 DAY. During the same period patient was treated with IMPROMEN, HALOPERIDOL, VEGETAMIN, DOXAZOSIN MESYLATE, FOSAMAX, ALFAROL, CARVEDILOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
