Artane side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Apr 20, 2006. Female patient, 59 years of age, was diagnosed with parkinsonism, schizophrenia and was treated with Artane. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: depressed level of consciousness, diabetic ketoacidosis, hyperamylasaemia, hypertension, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, obesity What is  obesity, osteoporosis What is  osteoporosis, renal failure acute, shock. Artane dosage: 4 MG 1X PER 1 DAY. During the same period patient was treated with IMPROMEN, HALOPERIDOL, VEGETAMIN, DOXAZOSIN MESYLATE, FOSAMAX, ALFAROL, CARVEDILOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Female patient, 65 years of age, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease What is  parkinson's disease and was treated with Artane. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cognitive disorder, condition aggravated, delirium, depressed level of consciousness, gait disturbance, hallucination, auditory, hallucination, visual, hypertension, mental disorder. Artane dosage: 2 MG 1X PER 1 DAY ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with LEVODOPA, SELEGILINE HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
