Artane side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on June 29, 2005. Female patient, 36 years of age, was diagnosed with cataplexy and was treated with Artane. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, liver disorder, pyrexia. Artane dosage: 6 MG 1X PER 1 DAY ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with CHLORPROMAZINE, DEPAS, ROHYPNOL, HALOPERIDOL, BIPERIDEN. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, gamma-glutamyltransferase decreased, hepatic function abnormal, pyrexia. Artane dosage: 6 MG 1X PER 1 DAY. During the same period patient was treated with CHLORPROMAZINE, DEPAS, ROHYPNOL, HALOPERIDOL, AKINETON, LITHIUM CARBONATE, RISPERIDONE. Patient recovered.
