Arsenic side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Sept 04, 2008. Male patient, 69 years of age, weighting 235.0 lb, was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome and was treated with Arsenic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aeromona infection, blood culture positive, chills, nausea . Arsenic dosage: 0.1 MG/KG DAYS 1-5; 8, 15, 22 QD INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with DECITABINE, ASCORBIC ACID, NEXIUM, PAXIL, GLYBURIDE, ACYCLOVIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 53 years of age, weighting 187.4 lb, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma  and was treated with Arsenic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, nausea , oral intake reduced, pyrexia. Arsenic dosage: 22 MG QD X 5 DAYS INTRAVENOU. During the same period patient was treated with AMLODIPINE, ESTROGEN, FEXOFENADINE, LEVOTHYROXINE, LORAZEPAM, PROCLOPERAZINE, SERTRALINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
