Arsenic Side Effects Report #4909895-6
Arsenic side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 27, 2006. Male patient, 79 years of age, weighting 180.2 lb, was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome and was treated with Arsenic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: fluid overload. Arsenic dosage: 20.4 MG QD INTRAVENOUS DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with CYTARABINE, PREVACID, AMIKACIN, IMIPENEM, VANCOLED, EPOGEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 79 years of age, weighting 180.2 lb, was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome and was treated with Arsenic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: fluid overload, multi-organ failure. Arsenic dosage: 20.4 MG QD INTRAVENOUS DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with CYTARABINE, PREVACID, AMIKACIN, IMIPENEM, VANCOLED, PROCRIT. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 02/04/2006.

Arsenic side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Apr 17, 2008. Male patient, 83 years of age, weighting 145.5 lb, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia and was treated with Arsenic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood culture positive, febrile neutropenia, fluid overload, oedema peripheral, penile oedema, pleural effusion, pneumonia , pulmonary oedema, respiratory distress. Arsenic dosage: 17 MG DAYS 1-5 AND 8-12 OF EACH CYCLE QD INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with ARSENIC TRIOXIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Arsenic side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 22, 2008. Female patient, 82 years of age, weighting 202.0 lb, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia and was treated with Arsenic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood albumin decreased, chest pain , condition aggravated, confusional state, delirium, dyspnoea, fluid overload, fungal infection . Arsenic dosage: 18.5 MG QD INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with CYTARABINE, CARTIA XT, BIOTENE, CEFEPIME, CYCLOBENZAPRINE, DILTIAZAEM, ESOMEPRAZOLE MAGNESIUM, GABAPENTIN. Patient died on 01/24/2008.
