Arsenic Side Effects Report #5853385-3
Arsenic side effect was reported by a Physician from ITALY on Jan 23, 2008. Male patient, 74 years of age, weighting 185.2 lb, was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome and was treated with Arsenic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, anaemia, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, cardiac failure, dyspnoea, pco2 decreased, platelet count decreased, po2 decreased. Arsenic dosage: 25.2 MG CYCLE 1 INTRAVENOUS DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with CLORFENAMINA MALEATO, IRBESARTAN, METFORMIN, LENOGASTRIM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Arsenic dosage: 25.2 MG CYCLE 1 INTRAVENOUS DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with CLORFENAMINA MALEATO, IRBESARTAN, METFORMIN, LENOGRASTIM, ASCORBIC ACID, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, atrial flutter, cardiac murmur, cardiomegaly, dyspnoea, electrocardiogram qt prolonged, hepatomegaly, jugular vein distension, pericardial effusion. Arsenic dosage: 0.15 MG/KG QD. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, abdominal pain What is  abdominal pain, acute promyelocytic leukaemia differentiation syndrome, differential white blood cell count abnormal, dyspnoea, electrocardiogram qt prolonged, gastrointestinal hypomotility, haemoglobin decreased, ileus paralytic. Arsenic dosage: 0.15 MG/KG FIVE DAYS PER WEEK INTRAVENOUS. Patient recovered.

Arsenic side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 22, 2008. Female patient, 82 years of age, weighting 202.0 lb, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia and was treated with Arsenic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood albumin decreased, chest pain What is  chest pain, condition aggravated, confusional state, delirium, dyspnoea, fluid overload, fungal infection What is  fungal infection. Arsenic dosage: 18.5 MG QD INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with CYTARABINE, CARTIA XT, BIOTENE, CEFEPIME, CYCLOBENZAPRINE, DILTIAZAEM, ESOMEPRAZOLE MAGNESIUM, GABAPENTIN. Patient died on 01/24/2008.
