Arsenic Side Effects Report #4983246-3
Arsenic side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Apr 05, 2006. Male patient, 63 years of age, was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukaemia and was treated with Arsenic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute promyelocytic leukaemia differentiation syndrome, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, cardio-respiratory arrest, cerebral haemorrhage, chest x-ray abnormal, disseminated intravascular coagulation, dyspnoea exertional, leukocytosis, loss of consciousness. Arsenic dosage: 7.2 MG QD INTRAVENOUS DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with DALTEPARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 01/11/2006.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dyspnoea exertional, lung infiltration, pneumonia fungal, respiratory tract infection fungal. Arsenic dosage: 20 MG Q72HR INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with ARSENIC TRIOXIDE, MYLOTARG, DIFLUCAN, LOTREL, ATENOLOL, SYNTHROID, PRILOSEC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Arsenic dosage: 20 MG Q72HR INTRAVENOUS DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with ARSENIC TRIOXIDE, MYLOTARG, DIFLUCAN, LOTREL, ATENOLOL, SYNTHROID, PRILOSEC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
