Arsenic Side Effects Report #5853388-9
Arsenic side effect was reported by a Physician from ITALY on Dec 06, 2007. Male patient, 65 years of age, was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome and was treated with Arsenic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute abdomen, chest pain What is  chest pain, deep vein thrombosis What is  deep vein thrombosis, disseminated intravascular coagulation, pericardial haemorrhage, pseudomonal sepsis, renal ischaemia. Arsenic dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FUROSEMIDE, PANTOPRAZOLE, METRONIDAZOLE, PIPERICILLIN, TAZOBACTAM, SELEPARINA. Patient died on 12/13/2007.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, disseminated intravascular coagulation, gamma-glutamyltransferase increased, hepatic function abnormal, platelet count decreased, white blood cell count decreased. Arsenic dosage: 9.3 MG QD INTRAVENOUS DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with NAFAMOSTAT MESILATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Arsenic dosage: 7.2 MG QD INTRAVENOUS DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with DALTEPARIN. Patient died on 01/11/2006.

Arsenic dosage: 7.2 MG QD INTRAVENOUS DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with DALTEPARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 01/11/2006.

Patient died on 01/28/2006.

Arsenic dosage: 0.15 MG/KG QD INTRAVENOUS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
