Arsenic side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Jan 19, 2006. Male patient, 63 years of age, was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukaemia and was treated with Arsenic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral haemorrhage. Arsenic dosage: unknown. Patient died on 01/11/2006.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardio-respiratory arrest, cerebral haemorrhage, disseminated intravascular coagulation, leukaemia recurrent, leukocytosis, loss of consciousness. Arsenic dosage: 7.2 MG QD INTRAVENOUS DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with DALTEPARIN. Patient died on 01/11/2006.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute promyelocytic leukaemia differentiation syndrome, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, cardio-respiratory arrest, cerebral haemorrhage, chest x-ray abnormal, disseminated intravascular coagulation, dyspnoea exertional, leukocytosis, loss of consciousness. Arsenic dosage: 7.2 MG QD INTRAVENOUS DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with DALTEPARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 01/11/2006.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral haemorrhage, chromatopsia, intracranial pressure increased, optic neuropathy, stem cell transplant, toxic neuropathy. Arsenic dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 57 years of age, weighting 152.1 lb, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia and was treated with Arsenic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: apallic syndrome, aplasia, blood ph increased, blood pressure systolic increased, brain herniation, cerebral haemorrhage, cholestasis, coma, erythema. Arsenic dosage: 11 MG DAYS 1-5 OF 12 DAY CYCLE QD INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with IDARUBICINE, ARACYTINE, PLITICAN, NEXIUM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 11/04/2007.
