Arsenic Side Effects Report #4909887-7
Arsenic side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 25, 2006. Male patient, 76 years of age, weighting 167.6 lb, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia, myelodysplastic syndrome and was treated with Arsenic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, blood bicarbonate decreased, computerised tomogram abnormal, cough, dyspnoea exertional, haemoglobin decreased, hypotension, neoplasm, platelet count decreased. Arsenic dosage: 20 MG Q72HR INTRAVENOUS DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with ARSENIC TRIOXIDE, MYLOTARG, DIFLUCAN, LOTREL, ATENOLOL, SYNTHROID, PRILOSEC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 76 years of age, weighting 167.6 lb, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia, myelodysplastic syndrome and was treated with Arsenic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, blood bicarbonate decreased, cough, cryptogenic organizing pneumonia, dyspnoea exertional, fungal infection What is  fungal infection, haemoglobin decreased, hypotension, lung infiltration. Arsenic dosage: 20 MG Q72HR INTRAVENOUS DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with ARSENIC TRIOXIDE, MYLOTARG, DIFLUCAN, LOTREL, ATENOLOL, SYNTHROID, PRILOSEC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Arsenic dosage: 23 MG QD FOR 5 DAYS EACH WEEK TIMES 2 WEEKS; INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with CYTARABINE, NORVASC, ACYCLOVIR, VORICONAZOLE, LEVAQUIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
