Male patient, 37 years of age, was diagnosed with schizophrenia, paranoid type and was treated with Aripiprazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: psychotic disorder . Aripiprazole dosage: RESTARTED AT 2.5 MG, INCREASING 2.5MG INCREMENTS UP TO 15MG/DAY. STOPPED ON DAY 39.. During the same period patient was treated with RISPERIDONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
