Aripiprazole Side Effects Report #5447377-6
Aripiprazole side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from JAPAN on Sept 04, 2007. Male patient, 60 years of age, was diagnosed with schizophrenia, prophylaxis and was treated with Aripiprazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, delusion, hepatic failure, hypoglycaemia, hypothermia , insomnia, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, pneumonia aspiration. Aripiprazole dosage: 27JUN07-2JUN07;12MG, 6DAYS.12JUL-7AUG:30MG, 3WEEK 6DAYS. During the same period patient was treated with LEVOMEPROMAZINE MALEATE, BIPERIDEN HYDROCHLORIDE, BIPERIDEN LACTATE, QUAZEPAM, HALOPERIDOL. Patient died on 08/17/2007.

During the same period patient was treated with LEVOMEPROMAZINE MALEATE, BIPERIDEN HYDROCHLORIDE, BIPERIDEN LACTATE, QUAZEPAM, HALOPERIDOL, CEFOTIAM, RINGERS SOLUTION, MAINTENANCE MEDIUM. Patient died on 08/17/2007.

During the same period patient was treated with RISPERIDONE, DILAZEP, BIPERIDEN HYDROCHLORIDE, CHLORPROMAZINE, NITRAZEPAM, HALOPERIDOL, SENNOSIDE, LEVOMEPROMAZINE MALEATE. Patient died on 05/25/2007.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, hepatic failure, hepatic function abnormal, hepatic steatosis, insomnia, prurigo, renal cyst, weight decreased. Aripiprazole dosage: 30MG 23-MAR TO 05-APR; 18MG 06-APR TO 12-APR. During the same period patient was treated with RISPERIDONE, LEVOMEPROMAZINE MALEATE, DILAZEP, BIPERIDEN HYDROCHLORIDE, CHLORPROMAZINE, NITRAZEPAM, HALOPERIDOL, SENNOSIDE. Patient died on 05/25/2007.
