Aripiprazole side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from JAPAN on Sept 18, 2007. Male patient, 60 years of age, was diagnosed with schizophrenia, prophylaxis and was treated with Aripiprazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: altered state of consciousness, anxiety , condition aggravated, dysphagia, dysuria, electrocardiogram qt prolonged, hepatic failure. Aripiprazole dosage: 27JUN07-2JUL07;12MG,6DAYS.03-JUL-11JUL 24MG/DAY.12JUL-7AUG:30MG, 3WEEK 6DAYS. During the same period patient was treated with LEVOMEPROMAZINE MALEATE, BIPERIDEN HYDROCHLORIDE, BIPERIDEN LACTATE, QUAZEPAM, HALOPERIDOL, CEFOTIAM, RINGERS SOLUTION, MAINTENANCE MEDIUM. Patient died on 08/17/2007.
