Female patient, 75 years of age, was diagnosed with heparin-induced thrombocytopenia and was treated with Argatroban. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, cardiac failure, epistaxis, operative haemorrhage. Argatroban dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 54 years of age, weighting 208.3 lb, was diagnosed with continuous haemodiafiltration, heparin-induced thrombocytopenia and was treated with Argatroban. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, epistaxis, injection site haemorrhage, international normalised ratio increased, platelet count decreased. Argatroban dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ACTIVASE, LACTULOSE, LEVOFLOXACN, RABREPRAZOLE, SALMETEROL, ALBUTEROL. Patient recovered.
