Argatroban side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Dec 20, 2006. Male patient, 74 years of age, was diagnosed with cerebral infarction and was treated with Argatroban. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood fibrinogen decreased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, blood urea increased, carotid artery stenosis, cerebral arteriosclerosis, cerebral infarction, cerebral thrombosis, deep vein thrombosis , disease recurrence. Argatroban dosage: 60 MGH, BID, INTRAVENOUS; 10 MG, BID, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with RADICUT, SOLDEM, DIGOXIN, ASPIRIN, ALLOPURINOL, GLYBURIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Argatroban dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with BAYASPIRIN, RADICUT, SOLDEM, DIGOXIN, ALLOPURINOL, GLYBURIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Patient recovered.
