Male patient, 80 years of age, was diagnosed with heparin-induced thrombocytopenia and was treated with Argatroban. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood bilirubin increased, international normalised ratio abnormal, prothrombin time prolonged. Argatroban dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN, CLINDAMYCIN, CEFEPIME, TYLENOL, PROCRIT, LEXAPRO, NEPHRO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
