Aptivus and mental status changes Patient Reports February 12, 2012

Aptivus Side Effects Report #5084920-3
Aptivus side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Aug 17, 2006. Male patient, 37 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Aptivus. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure increased, haemorrhage intracranial, malaise, mental status changes. Aptivus dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MEGACE, PRAVACHOL, DARAPRIM, BUSPAR, KEPPRA, SEREVENT, CHOLESTYRAMINE, CELEXA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure increased, cerebral haemorrhage, haemorrhage intracranial, hydrocephalus , malaise, mental status changes, platelet count decreased, white blood cell count decreased. Aptivus dosage: TPV/ RTV 1000/400 MG. During the same period patient was treated with MEGACE, PRAVACHOL, DARAPRIM, BUSPAR, KEPPRA, SEREVENT, CHOLESTYRAMINE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
