Aptivus and cytolytic hepatitis Patient Reports February 12, 2012

Aptivus Side Effects Report #5156580-4
Aptivus side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from FRANCE on Oct 31, 2006. Male patient, 41 years of age, weighting 130.1 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection , pulmonary embolism  and was treated with Aptivus. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aspergillosis, brain abscess, cardiac failure, cholestasis, cytolytic hepatitis, cytomegalovirus infection , gastritis, haematoma, haemodialysis. Aptivus dosage: TPV/RTV 250MG/ 200MG B.I.D. During the same period patient was treated with LOVENOX, FUNGIZONE, MEDROL, NEORAL, CELLCEPT, VIREAD. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 10/22/2006.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cytolytic hepatitis, overdose. Aptivus dosage: TPV/RTV 500/200MG B.I.D. During the same period patient was treated with ENFUVIRTIDE. Patient recovered.

Aptivus dosage: TPV/RTV 500/200MG B.I.D. During the same period patient was treated with FUZEON, VIREAD, KIVEXA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
